AIDEN – Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
AIDEN is a private personal assistant used by a single individual (the "owner"). It is not offered to the public. Contact: aiden.perotto@gmail.com.
2. Data accessed through Google APIs
With the owner's authorisation, AIDEN accesses only the Google account created for it:
- Gmail (scope
gmail.readonly): reads messages in the inbox to summarise and prioritise them. AIDEN cannot send, modify or delete email. - Google Calendar: reads events and creates events in a dedicated calendar. AIDEN is programmed to list events and to create events only in that calendar; it has no function to edit or delete events.
- Google Contacts (scope
contacts.readonly): reads the contacts list to distinguish known senders from unknown ones. AIDEN cannot modify contacts.
3. How the data is used
Data is used only to provide the assistant's features to the owner, and only at his request or through tasks he has set up. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
4. Storage and processing
Authorisation tokens and any working data are stored locally on the owner's own computer, protected by that computer's access controls. To produce summaries, the relevant text may be processed by the AI service provider used by the assistant (Anthropic's Claude). The data is processed only to generate the response requested by the owner; it is not used to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with third parties, except for the processing described in section 4 and where required by law.
6. Limited Use
AIDEN's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Retention and deletion
The owner can delete locally stored data at any time and can revoke AIDEN's access at any time from the Google Account permissions page: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date above shows the latest version.
